Severe Fungal Sinusitis

This unfortunate patient had been suffering from sinusitis for 15 years and already 3 prior FESS surgeries when I saw her this year. She could not breath through her nose and neither could she smell anything. Nasal endoscopy showed both her nasal cavities to be filled with polyps and no space to advance the endoscope deeper. CT scan showed all her sinuses to be affected by the fungal sinusitis. A four hour FESS surgery was done in September 2020 and now her sinuses are perfectly clear of the diseases.
